At Web Summit 2025 in Lisbon, GlobalTips was recognised among the event's Top 10 standout startups and advanced to the PITCH semifinals.
The 2025 event brought together more than 71,000 attendees from 157 countries, including 1,857 investors and 2,725 startups, according to the event figures shared at the time.
GlobalTips was selected to present on the PITCH semifinal stage, joining a small group of companies recognised for their product, execution and market potential.
“This wasn't just another conference appearance – it was a clear signal that digital solutions for the hospitality sector are relevant and understandable across global markets,” said Dzmitry Khabibullin, CEO of GlobalTips. “We're proud of how far our product has come and grateful to the Web Summit community for the recognition and support.”
What is Web Summit?
Web Summit is an annual technology conference that brings together startups, investors, technology companies and media from around the world. The programme includes startup showcases, investor meetings, industry sessions and the PITCH competition for early-stage companies.
What the milestone means for GlobalTips
The Web Summit result marked another step in GlobalTips' expansion beyond its home markets. The platform combines hospitality payments, QR menus, ordering, cashless tipping, reviews, loyalty and staff tools in a single product ecosystem.
Recognition on an international stage also reinforced a simple point: hospitality operators across markets are looking for ways to reduce friction in guest journeys while giving staff and managers better tools to run the venue.
GlobalTips continues to build that platform for restaurants, cafés, hotels and other hospitality formats across Europe.
